Group 2 returns to Pokhara
Group 2 has safely returned to Pokhara to prepare for the Gala dinner after successfully reaching Bhara Pokhari and leaving a Saltire to mark the achievement. Your blogger just had time to send the messages below.
But first, today’s prize topical joke comes from Jamie:
“What’s the difference between a bison and a buffalo?” Answer at the end of this post.
Here are some messages from the young people to special people at home.
Dollie: Hi to any who sees this blog. It was great. I’m glad I did it. Thanks for everyone’s help. And Sam was in a good mood.
Luke: Hi to all at Kibble. Wait till you see the photos. Love to my family.
Niall: Hi to all in Fife. Niall here. Was feeling crappy but a lot better now. Raring to go and dying to know the footie scores. See you all soon. Take care. Niall x
Anthony: Hi to all at Netherton. I am having a good time. Not missing you too much but I can’t wait to see you. Lot’s of love, Anthony xxxxxxxx
George: This trip is the highlight of my life. The views are amazing. Never thought I would be here right now up a mountain. Loving everything, even the food. George XXX
Leona: Hi, this is the best experience of my life. Never thought I would make it. I proved myself wrong. I am totally away to change my way of thinking about life. Missing you all. Love Leona xxxxx
Gemma: very tired but love every minute. It’s our last day of trekking so it will be very sad to say goodbye to everyone I met.
Jordan: Hi to all those back in Fife. Having a fantastic time. The views are spectacular and I will see you when I get back.
Keven: Hi to all in soggy Britain. Having a fab time. Just hope the weather over in Scotland is good enough for me to come home. Or I might just stay. Ha Ha!
And the rest of the joke: ”You can’t wash your face in a buffalo.”
We’ve had lots of fun this week and the young people have kept us all entertained by their humour – though not all the jokes are suitable for this medium!
